We are so thankful to Dawn for arranging four years the adoption of our dachshund, Libby. She is so a part of our family and is a quality dog, a marvelous representative for the breed. Dawn has also taken care of Libby while we have been out of town and Libby has had a great time during her time away from us. She comes home from her visit happy, healthy and well adjusted. This has taken a load off of my mind; I don't have to worry about what to do with Libby when we go out of town.

Dawn,

Thank you again for taking such good care of Deuce.  I know he got super care just by the way he was behaving after we picked him up....he was actually more relaxed after staying at your place than he was before we dropped him off.  He has been so affectionate lately--just so cozy....I know this if from all the attention he received at your house.  He also wants to sleep on the bed with Curt and I....big thank you to your husband for allowing him to snuggle with him....I know he felt secure with all the attention.

Anyway, thanks again Dawn!

We met Dawn when we were considering adopting another Dachshund, but
weren't sure we were ready after the recent loss of our sweet Sally.
We met two wonderful dogs, but just didn't feel ready. Dawn encouraged
us to meet one more dog, Maggie. The instant we (me, my husband, and
Charlie, our boy Dachshund) met her, we knew it was meant to be. We
can't thank Dawn enough for bringing this short, spotted, waggly girl into our lives. Even the cat loves her! Dawn was great with helping us get Maggie adjusted to her new home, too.   A dog who ends up with Dachshund Rescue of St. Louis is a lucky dog indeed - they are so well cared for while being fostered, and Dawn makes sure each dog ends up
in his or her perfect forever home. Thank you, thank you, thank you,
from the bottom of our hearts!

Dawn,

Thanks for asking after the doggies.  They were just a bit tired, but otherwise in good spirits.  No problems at all!  I think they really liked it at your place.  Thanks for taking such good care of them.
